The Role

We are seeking a motivated Rostering and Administration Officer to join our team in Dandenong. You will play a key role in ensuring that our support services run smoothly and efficiently, directly impacting the quality of care we provide.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:

  • Ensuring accurate and efficient rostering of support workers, whilst ensuring compliance with the SCHADS Award and NDIS regulations, and prompt communication of shifts.
  • Building rapport with support staff, addressing inquiries, and resolving rostering conflicts professionally.
  • Assisting management with administrative tasks, including NDIS compliance, booking company meetings, taking meeting minutes and overseeing documents preparation and distribution.  
  • Monitoring and reporting on workforce performance metrics, such as attendance, punctuality, and adherence to scheduled shifts.
  • Handling client service requests, matching support workers to meet client needs and preferences.
  • Maintaining accurate records within the rostering system and ensuring all data aligns with NDIS guidelines.

To secure the role, we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of rostering experience, preferably in the disability sector.
  • Familiarity with the SCHADS Award and NDIS is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A proactive problem-solver with excellent time management and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
  • Experience with Visual Care (rostering system) is desirable.
