About the role:

The NDIS Support Coordinator will provide quality support to NDIS participants. We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual that will bring an element of enthusiasm and motivation to the already existing team.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting NDIS participants to navigate and access the services they need to achieve their goals and build capacity in their everyday lives.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing NDIS support plans for clients, tailoring services to their individual needs.
  • Coordinating the delivery of supports and services from various providers to ensure clients’ needs are met.
  • Advocating for clients to access appropriate funding and resources through the NDIS.
  • Connect participants with appropriate service providers.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, their families, and support providers.
  • Monitoring and reviewing clients’ progress, adjusting support plans as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on client outcomes.
  • Providing guidance and information to clients about the NDIS and available support services.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Use gained experience and networks to promote and grow the business.
  • Maintain team objectives and Key Performance Indicators.

To secure the role, we are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar NDIS support coordination role.
  • Thorough understanding of the NDIS and ability to navigate the scheme on behalf of clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of local disability, mainstream and community services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of clients.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to work autonomously.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.
  • Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the local region.
  • Applicants will be subject to a NDIS worker screening check, working with children check and other relevant checks required.
