I spoke with Zephyln from Wedgetail Equine Therapy yesterday.

She reports she has seen a great change in Cameron, only wearing one set of clothes and appears less anxious, his engagement is much better and can focus and stay on task.

Zephlyn said Perfect Care SW are doing an “amazing job with Cameron.”

He looks at SW to see how they are responding for assurance and they are providing positive role modelling to Cameron.

Dear staff and owners.

I’m —- mum. —– is currently participating in respite care at Cranbourne. I can’t thank you enough for providing such a beautiful, friendly, safe place for her to be.

The last time Christina was away from home this long, she was in a Psych Ward in Hospital.

After her introductory stay last weekend, she booked herself in for this coming weekend. When she found out her main respite worker wasn’t going to be available this week, SHE CHOSE to stay in respite care at Cranbourne. That’s absolutely massive!!!! Her brother is really appreciating the break also. It’s fantastic to know Christina is in safe hands with 24/7 support. So thank you so, so much for providing such a beautiful, safe place for her to be.

Perfect Care has been an amazing support for our daughter since she started using them for STA and is now living with them.

I love how quickly they respond to and resolve any issues creatively, openly and honestly.

The team are beautiful caring souls, who have been able to support my daughter through some difficult challenges. This is enabling her to thrive with achieving her short, medium and long term NDIS goals.

It’s been such a blessing finding this service and using it. The love, support, care and kindness toward their clients are amazing.

I want to feedback that your staff are so beautiful and compassionate with (name removed), and helped him enter the carer’s home yesterday and supported him whilst he explored the bin situation and encouraged him to behave overnight. I think Noah’s relationship with them was really important to how smoothly it went.

Dear Kim and Staff,

I want to thank you so, so much for the care, love and support you have all provided * this past week and a bit.

I am particularly thankful for the quick action and dedication to resolve a major issue last night with *.

I grew up in a very abusive environment. I was also kidnapped and abused as a teen. So the trauma is real. For * to contact me last night, and tell me what another client was saying to her – although he couldn’t do anything physically, the verbal trauma is real. Especially as she has a history of abuse as well. I was already away having my own Respite, when * contacted me. When I heard what was happening, I wanted to jump in the car, pack her up and bring her to where I was having respite.

However, I didn’t have to rescue her! Once you all understood what was happening and how * felt, YOU all swung into action and helped her feel and be safe again. You all proved to her that there are safe people in the world, who can be trusted, apart from mum! You all proved to her that there are people who really care. You all proved to ME, that I can trust that other people can have * best interest at heart. This has been a massive, massive growth experience for me.

When I heard what you were all prepared to do to support *, I just cried. I’ve never experienced support like that from an organisation.

So thank you so, so, much.

I look forward to continuing to have you support * as she goes in for regular respite. I also look forward to the day when she can move in to one of your accommodation options.

Peter said that he really enjoyed the house, it was nice and close to the shops (which he loves) and he said the staff were great. He especially liked that he had his meals cooked for him and they were things that he liked to eat. It is great feedback to know that Peter was a pleasure to have around and the staff enjoyed their time with him.

Peter is keen to come back.

Recently we discovered Perfect Care STA services. They offer a wonderful home away from home with family values & love for our son who has complex disability needs.

We’ve found management & staff to be flexible, understanding, open, & easy to deal with. Everyone is so willing & eager to learn the tiny details that it takes to support our son properly, & this is important to us.

He is always happy to be dropped off & immediately makes himself at home. It gives us great relief to know he likes it there & is in good hands.

There are not enough of such wonderful services to meet the needs of our vulnerable loved ones. The world needs more Perfect Care!
