COVID-19 Update
COVID-19 Updates
Perfect Care continue to monitor all COVID-19 updates and directives from all levels of Government and medical advisers. During this difficult time we are committed to continuing to provide the highest level of care for our participants. To date, Perfect Care has not received notification of COVID-19 confirmed cases amongst our staff or participants.
COVID-19 Infection Control Training
All of our staff have successfully completed the Australian Government’s Department of Health online course on COVID-19 Infection Control Training. This course is specifically designed for care workers. The course is relevant for carers working in shared care facilities (including short term accommodation) and carers working in people’s home.
Enhanced Hygiene Practices
We are working with our staff on a daily basis to make sure we are immediately made aware of any signs that may indicate a staff member or participant may have the COVID-19 virus.
The enhanced hygiene practices include:
Frequent washing of hands
Hand sanitisers have been placed in our short term accommodation homes. Both staff and participants regularly wash hands with either soap and water or alcohol based hand sanitisers.
Maintaining Social Distancing
Where appropriate, we will maintain the recommended 1.5 metre social distancing. In addition, in accordance with Stage 3 restrictions, community participation activities have been suspended.

Personal Wellbeing
If a staff member is unwell for any reason they are instructed not to turn up to work. In addition, if they have possible COVID-19 symptoms or they have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 they are also required not to turn up to work. They will only return to work after they have been tested for COVID-19 and received notification that they do not have the virus.
24/7 Support
During this difficult time we continue being available 24/7. In addition, our head office has implemented procedures to ensure that we continue to provide you with the highest level of support during the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes all our stakeholders being able to work remotely to ensure no interruption to the services we provide.
