Household Tasks
NDIS provides a lot of support for people in their home for household tasks. What gets funded depends on your particular situation and what’s in your NDIS plan.
The following are the four categories of household tasks that NDIS can fund:
Household Cleaning and Other Household Activities
If you require assistance with household cleaning and activities then we can help.
- Mopping, dusting and vacuuming
- Wiping down benchtops
- Cleaning the fridge
- Dish washing and drying
- Laundry washing and drying
- Grocery shopping
- Meals and Cooking
When your NDIS plan identifies that you require assistance with household activities and cleaning, Perfect Care will organise a support worker to assist with you when you need it. This will enable you to live as independently as possible and keep your house the way you like it. It also means your home maintains a healthy environment that is both safe and comfortable for you to enjoy living in.
Preparation/Delivery of Meals
If you need assistance with meal preparation and delivery, Perfect Care will gladly do this for you. (Cost of food is not included).
Linen Service
If you need assistance with your laundry, Perfect Care is here to help by providing a clean linen service. This includes:
- Towels
- Sheets
- Pillows
- Doona covers
- Thermal blankets
- Mattress protectors
- Bath mats
- Plastic bed sheeting
House and/or Yard Maintenance
If your NDIS plan includes assistance with essential house or yard maintenance that you are unable to do yourself then we can help.
- Mowing lawns
- Treating weeds
- Clipping hedges
- Clearing footpaths
- or just giving the yard a tidy up
are just some of the maintenance tasks we can help with to keep your yard looking at its best.
We can also assist with general maintenance around the home. This includes such things as changing light bulbs, cleaning gutters, window cleaning and changing the batteries of smoke detectors.
Perfect Care will happily help you with any of your house and/or yard maintenance tasks where you can’t do them yourself. This will mean you will enjoy living independently in your well maintained home and garden.
